Makoto Nakura: “Elegy” for solo marimba

Whilst I have never considered myself a composer, “Elegy” just came to me when a percussion colleague of mine passed away. To my surprise, the recording of this piece won an award from the Japan Association of Professional Recording Studios in 2019. Now being published, I hope it to be played by many marimba players.
